Morristown Kickboxing - Weekend Plank Challenge

Ok ladies, this weekends Workout Challenge is simple. You have until midnight on Sunday to do as many 2 minute planks as you can. You can spread them out as much as you want. You must actually plank for 2 minutes, rest time does NOT COUNT. Pause your timer when you rest. 

Post your total on your personal timeline before bed Sunday night (or Monday morning) as a check-in at ilovekickboxing.com Morristown to be eligible for prizes. If you are not on Facebook you may post your total as a comment on this blog. 

You need a minimum of 4 sets to get one entry. 5 gets 2 entries. 7 gets 3 entries. Every additional set from there earns you an additional entry for a max of 6. Get your significant other to participate and post and your entries will be doubled.

Morristown Kickboxing - 300 Rep Challenge

Alright Morristown kickboxers - its time for the Weekend Workout Challenge for September 20th - 22nd!

To be eligible for prizes, you must post your screenshot of your time on your personal Facebook timeline as a check-in at ILoveKickboxing.com Morristown. Specify if the push-ups were on your knees and the lunge squats were complete or not. 

If you get your significant other to do the challenge and post, you get 3 entries in the drawing instead of only 1. If I am not friends with them, you will need to send me their screenshot or other proof that they posted their time and why they were doing it. 

I am going to change the prizes up a little from here on out. I will still do the $10 Starbucks card to the first person to post, and I will give away 3 $5 cards. I will also throw in stuff like t-shirts, etc, and occasionally restaurant gift cards. But instead of doing $20 cash every week, I will do a drawing for $50 every 4 weeks. Every time you do the challenge you get an entry, and of course if your significant other does it too, that triples. I think $50 makes things a little more interesting. 

I also have something cool in the works for those that participate on a regular basis.

Morristown Kickboxing - Weekend of August 23rd

Better late than never, right?

Sorry Morristown, TN kickboxing students. I forgot to post this one!

Make sure you give this one a shot, because it is a KILLER workout.

50 jumping jacks, 50 push-ups, 50 hopping prisoner squats, 50 push-ups, and 50 more hopping prisoner squats to finish.

You should be feeling AWESOME by the time this one is over.

Morristown Kickboxing - Tricep Dip, Elevated Mountain Climber & Air Squat Challenge

Welcome to this weeks workout challenge Morristown Kickboxing students and fitness fans!

Please excuse the setting for this weeks video - I was forced to shoot in our jungle of a yard, which made things a little...... interesting to say the least.

I goofed up, I admit it, and explained the wrong reps, so you are getting off easy this week.

You will need to do 30 triceps dips, 40 elevated mountain climbers, and 50 air squats. You will repeat the cycle 3 times.
